My focus, especially in the first session, is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to address what is happening in your life that has you seek support. This is especially important as life can be stressful, challenging and difficult, which can make us doubt ourselves and our abilities. We feel stuck and misunderstood.
Getting to know each other is the first step to a solid, collaborative relationship that will help us find and/or rediscover your strengths and capabilities. As for my clinical approach, I utilize different therapy modalities as everyone is unique and has different needs. Depending on age, I often use play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy as well as a person-centered and strength-
based approach.
Together we will identify objectives and goals that you want to accomplish and achieve.
