Each person has their own story and experiences, and the first therapy session provides space for you to begin sharing yours. In the first therapy session, we will discuss your history, current stressors, and establish goals for counseling. My goal during the first session is to provide a safe and compassionate space for you to be your authentic self.
In subsequent sessions, I integrate the evidence based modalities of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based approaches, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), expressive arts, and play therapy to assist individuals in meeting their wellness goals.
